Product Description

The ZHIJING Serrated Super Hardness Slotter Cutting Blade is a heavy-duty replacement part engineered for corrugated carton slotter machines that process multi-wall and highly recycled board. Standard straight-edge blades meet the full width of the cut at once, which concentrates force, generates heat and quickly dulls the edge on abrasive recycled fiber. The serrated profile of this blade changes the cutting action completely: each tooth works like a small chisel, penetrating the board progressively so the total cutting force is lower, vibration is reduced, and the edge stays cooler even during sustained high-speed running. Converters on heavy-duty work report cleaner slots, less dust and significantly longer intervals between regrinds.

The blade is manufactured from super-hardness steel and heat treated to HRC 63-68, with the option of high speed steel or carbide-enhanced grades for the most abrasive board conditions. Tooth pitch and profile are not fixed: they are selected according to the board grade, flute construction and machine speed, so the blade can be tuned for coarse recycled furnishes or for finer, cleaner cuts on demanding multi-wall work. Precision grinding keeps the cutting circle and tooth geometry consistent across the full length, which protects the machine bearings from uneven load and keeps slot dimensions accurate box after box.
